SummerIFF proudly presents: a masterclass with Lim Giong! This world-acclaimed musician and film score composer will share with Hong Kong audiences his insights and perspectives on the interaction of the sound and the image. His celebrated film scores can be found in three of this year’s line-up – Pema Tseden’s JINPA, Huang Hsin-Chien’s VR film BODYLESS, and Hou Hsiao-Hsien’s THE ASSASSIN, with which he received Cannes Soundtrack Award. Before attending the masterclass, you can revisit Hou’s exquisite masterpiece, and immerse yourself in a transcendent, mesmerising audio-visual experience.
