On-the-day Ticket Purchase Arrangement

Tickets are available at URBTIX outlets until one hour before the screening, after which tickets are available at URBTIX website, mobile app or the Self-service Ticketing Kiosk (Ticketing Kiosk Manual) of the respective screening venue, subject to availability.

For Telephone Booking, Internet Booking and Mobile App

A handling charge (which is non-refundable) is levied at HK$9 per ticket.

Ticket Collection Service

Customers may collect their purchased tickets from Self-service Ticketing Kiosks, or at the sales counter at any of the URBTIX Outlets with the credit card used for transaction or by the claim ID and user-defined password, from transaction date onwards.

Refund Arrangement and Programme Changes

For alteration of screenings, ticket holders may attend a screening of a replacement film at the same time slot or to get a refund.

At the time when the programmes launched, most of the films have not been submitted to the Office for Film, Newspaper and Article Administration. In case that a film is subsequently classified as Category III, refunds will be made to ticket holder under 18 years of age who bought tickets before the announcement.

Ticket holders may fill out a refund application form online or return the completed form (Cine Fan Nov/Dec Programme) / (Cine Fan Jan/Feb/Mar Programme) with ticket(s) by post to the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society Limited (Unit B, 3rd Floor, Block B, Wing Hong Factory Building, 777-783 Yu Chau West Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong) on or before 17 January 2025 (Cine Fan Nov/Dec Programme) / on or before 3 April 2025 (Cine Fan Jan/Feb/Mar Programme). (All services fees will not be refunded)

The HKIFF Society reserves the right to change the schedule, the venue and the programme itself should unavoidable circumstances make it necessary. Screening alterations and cancellations will be announced on the HKIFF Cine Fan website or social media platforms.

Arrangements under Inclement Weather Conditions

Screenings or electronic subtitles may be cancelled when Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is in force or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued. Please refer to the HKIFF Cine Fan website or social media platforms for the latest notice.

Terms and Conditions

1) One person per ticket regardless of age. Children under age of 6 will not be admitted to any screenings.
2) All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
3) HKIFFS will not be responsible for any lost tickets. Tickets cannot be re-issued if posted wrongly, lost, stolen or destroyed.
4) Free seating for all screenings.
