What We Do in the Shadows

Living through thousands of years, can the undead readily get by in the 21st century? Four medieval vampire housemates set out to challenge themselves in a reality show, inviting a daring film crew to record their daily lives, from squabbling about the washing up to facing off with a rival gang of werewolves, and teaching a rookie the vampire etiquette. A wickedly funny mockumentary from New Zealand, it gives a continuous flow of outrageous, rib-tickling gags, yet remains strangely touching – what’s more heartwarming (or absurd?) than the predators fighting to save the life of a human friend, who introduces them to Google and selfies?
