Kicking off the new year, CineClub offers you an exclusive free preview screening of The Banshees Of Inisherin by Martin McDonagh, the acclaimed director of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. This dark tragicomedy follows two lifelong Irish friends who find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly puts an end to their friendship, leading to devastating consequences for both of them. This ruminative ensemble piece profoundly reflects on how a friendship turns sour in a country broken up by civil war. Winner of Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) at the Golden Globes, and Best Actor (Colin Farrell) and Best Screenplay at both Golden Globes and Venice Film Festival.
